ABOUT THE FILM

This is the third film in Leshock’s collegiate filmmaking career. Leshock encourages everyone to watch the film whether at the premiere event or afterwards on his YouTube channel, “this is unlike anything I’ve created before. The sheer amount of effort and emotion that both Anthony Maggio and Elizabeth Goranson bring to this story is unparalleled in any of my previous works.”

Leshock recalls the numerous rehearsals before the actual film shoot. “We would meet in this small dance room at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts and work through the dialogue. Eventually, we began walking and blocking each scene. Through these rehearsals, we were able to smooth out a lot of the gaps in dialogue and really get the rhythm down. Visiting the actual filming location before the shoot was also immensely helpful as we had to adapt spatially from a small room to a large outdoor space.”
